Do the solo cowls fit on Gel or Corbin Seats?The solo cowls are designed so that they hug tightly against the factory Suzuki seat. The extra padding that the Gel and Corbin seats offer makes them too large for the solo cowls to fit over. Many customers have found a good alternative is to mount the solo cowl on a factory seat and then to simply switch whole seats when they plan to ride long distances or with a passenger. How do they mount, do I have to modify my seat?Braada Concepts solo cowls are designed to slide over the stock seat from the rear. They are held into place using four tabs that are strategically placed to fit into openings in the factory fairings. The tabs are easily bendable to conform to fit your seat exactly, making for a custom fit to your bike.
We do recommend using short screws in the two front tabs for extra security. These two small holes in the underside of the seat are the only modification necessary, you do not have to cut your seat. What are the solo cowls made of?Our solo cowls are vacuum formed from a single sheet of thick ABS plastic, the same material used to make the factory fairings. Each solo cowl is then trimmed out and hand finished individually. Every cowl is a unique piece because it is hand crafted. Do you offer painting?We do not offer color matching or final painting. All solo cowls are delivered in high build primer. They arrive ready for final sanding, seal priming and color match painting.
Any quality body shop local to you should have no problems taking a laser
scan of your color and matching the paint for you. Factory matched and

Katana owners asked the "big guys" to make a solo cowl for a long time and no one would. We initially made a few for some friends and thought we might sell a couple, but we never expected the response we have gotten. Please understand that every solo cowl is hand made individually by one person. Orders are shipped on a first come first served basis as soon as we can get them out the door. However, due to the limited nature of this hand made product and the time needed to make them there is a normal waiting list that averages 30 - 50 orders at any time and It will take some time for us to get to a new order. Time estimates given on this website are a best case scenario. Please do not plan entire bike painting or any other event based on when you will receive your solo cowl as we cannot guarantee any shipping dates. If you cannot wait the time it may take for us to get to your order, you should not order directly from us.
